Join us for Queering the Basics, a figure drawing class focused on embracing diverse bodies through art, providing a low-pressure environment for artists of all levels to connect with the experience of creation.

What do you need to bring? Bring yourself! There will be tables, chairs, and clipboards provided. Materials like crayons, pastels, and charcoal will be provided by our instructor, as well as pencils and paper. You are encouraged to bring your own materials as long as they are dry! (Digital art supplies are also a-okay!)

Bambi is a queer and disabled art educator and Nova, the model*, is their queer and disabled partner. Bambi is eager to help direct and encourage beginner artists, as well as provide a space for artists with more experience to gain practice with diverse bodies.

Access Info: This class is held in person. Masks are required at Self Serve, please follow all contagion protocols to help keep each other and our community safe. Our entrance & bathroom are accessible. Please refrain from wearing heavily scented products.
