On Friday April 4th, Matie and Molly appeared on 2 Kasa This Morning to talk about our “Sex and Self Love for Survivors” class and other ways in which survivors can have thriving sex lives.
We’re also hosting an informal gathering at Self Serve on Tuesday April 8th, that will help connect people with the Rape Crisis Center. This event is free to the public.
Sunday April 13th, we’re hosting our class, “Sex and Self Love for Survivors” at 6:30 pm. This is a class designed for survivors and their partners to learn skills and techniques to have the sex they want to have, while feeling supported and safe.
“Can sexuality heal our trauma? Is self-love and erotic love possible after our physical and/or sexual boundaries are violated? If we are broken, can we ever be whole? Though there are no perfect answers to these questions, there are always possibilities. Join Sera Miles for an excavating journey through theories of narrative fulfillment, attachment, neurology, and complex defense mechanisms. Trauma distorts our frame of reference. Discover techniques that may lead you to let go of what you cannot recapture, and thus allow you to reclaim and freshly claim your erotic, sexual, and personal sense of self.”
