Do you know the basics of impact play, but planning a scene makes you feel lost or overwhelmed? Looking for help on how to break out of your same old spanking routine and spice things up? This class is for you! Following our popular Impact 101 class, Hit Me Baby One More Time, we are so excited to present our brand new Impact 102 class Impactful Scene Setting. This class is intended for those who already have an understanding of impact safety, consent, and implements, but may be looking for more in-depth info on how to create a scene from start to finish–planning and negotiations to aftercare.
Our two instructors, Julia and Tiziana, will walk you through the complexities of how to ask for what you want, how to achieve the goals you and your partner want, and how to help make the process of setting up a scene more approachable. After laying a foundation, Tiziana and Julia will give a demonstration of a scene from start to finish with time afterwards for lots of questions. We’ll also talk about how to incorporate variety into your routine!
Access Info: This class is held in-person and at the Self Serve store. Our entrance & bathroom are accessible. Please refrain from wearing heavily scented products.
Tiziana (they/them pronouns) is a sex educator and the director of outreach at Self Serve. They have over a decade of experience in facilitation and program coordination and earned their BA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from UNM. A polyamorous kinkster, Tiziana is particularly enthusiastic about facilitating conversations around consent, non-monogamy, communication, kink, and pleasure.
Julia (she/her pronouns) is a sex educator with almost 10 years of community education experience on a variety of subjects. She is the assistant manager and lingerie buyer at Self Serve. After earning her bachelor's in psychology and gender, women, and sexuality studies she is looking forward to pursuing a master's in sex therapy. Julia enjoys having open conversations about consent, kink, non-monogamy, the newest technology in sex toys, and creativity in sex!
