So often when we hear about victims of interpersonal violence society seems to frame them in the moment of crisis, not as full survivors who will need support and healing long term. In this workshop we will look at what healing looks like for YOU, how to be a trauma-informed partner, and creating a pathway for healing that is sustainable. Participants will leave with: An understanding of trauma and its impacts on the mind/body, tools for identifying and defining healing for oneself, the ability to explain what being a trauma-informed partner looks and feels like.
