squirting
Squirting is one of the coolest things bodies can do while experiencing pleasure. It is often tied to a big release and a big explosive O. Squirting isn’t mysterious but it is often elusive. Most sex education people receive doesn’t include pleasure, the clitoris, or the Gspot--so it makes sense that people need to seek out some info. With the right understanding of anatomy, arousal, and the right tools for the job you can be well on the way to your adventures in squirting.
just the tips...
tip #1
Understanding the G Spot
The area of the body that needs to be stimulated for squirting to happen is named a lot of things in the body. (This anatomy goes by many names: Gspot, the female prostate, the periurethral sponge, or the Skene’s Gland are all the same thing.) We’ll refer to it as the G Spot here but all of these terms can be used interchangeably. This spot is found 1-3 inches inside the vaginal canal roof and is made of the same material as the male prostate so it responds positively to pressure.
tip #2
Finding the G Spot
Understanding exactly where this spot is important as many folks reach too far into the vaginal canal to stimulate the area. Because of the placement of this spot there are certain kinds of stimulation that work far better than others. The G Spot is connected to the external clitoris through a pathway of nerve endings so incorporating external and internal stimulation at the same time often makes the magic happen. Learning about anatomy and technique can help us understand how our bodies work in relation to pleasure. tip #3
Focus on Foreplay
Arousal is complicated for each of us but can often be achieved by understanding what gets our own motors running. For many, clitoral stimulation (with hands, a mouth, a vibrator, etc…) can get the blood flow moving in the right direction. Adding a stimulating gel/lube, pumping the vulva or clitoris, sensation play, erotica, or playing with toys can add to our arousal in powerful ways. The more time and energy focused on arousal during foreplay, the better! The bigger the build-up, the bigger the orgasm!
tip #4
The Right Tools for the Job
Having a few toys and supplies specifically designed for the Gspot can help us squirt! The Gspot responds best to firm pressure and shallow penetration. There are incredible toys that are designed for exactly this kind of stimulation and using them can make squirting more likely. The best toys will have a firm ridge that is designed to press 1-3 inches inside the top of the vaginal wall. Adding external clitoral stimulation will always add to the experience because that will stimulate clitoral nerve endings directly externally and indirectly internally. Using a positioning pillow can help raise someone’s hips so that the angle for gspot stimulation is ideal. Adding a blanket made just for squirting underneath play can help alleviate stress about any potential mess and help you let it flow--and it makes clean up a breeze.
